Callayomi County Water District Board of Directors Opening!

The district is looking for a community-minded person to participate in the management of Middletown’s water system.

Responsibilities:

  • attend monthly meetings (3rd Thursday: 4:00pm), and occasional special meetings
  • review informational document packet before meeting
  • periodically serve on a committee to research and review relevant information
  • participate in oversite and decision making related to finances, personnel, and district development

Requirements and Benefits:

  • must live full-time and be a registered voter in the district, and be current on your water bill
  • complete and submit an application (and other requested documents, if appointed)
  • attendance of meetings by board members is compensated with $100.00 stipend

Note: the directors are elected positions with 4-year terms. The open position is up for election in 2026.
